brushed him. She was really quiet
until I got to the part about brushing
him.
“You got in the pen with him?”
“Yes. He really liked the
brushing I gave him.”
“He didn’t try to kill you?”
“Oh, no. Not at all. He sure
didn’t like those guys that drove the
truck, though. When they came back
with their friend, he wanted to attack
them.”
“What happened?”
I told her all about it, and then
said, “I’ve never seen any horse act
like he does. If it is anyone besides
me or Hannah, he gets upset.” I then
told her about taking Hannah and my
girls over there.
