       runs around the pasture.  “There are

       just so many strange things about


       him.  Can you tell me more?”

               Brenda laughed.  “All in good


       time.  All in good time.  My phone

       bill won’t hold up under all the things


       I need to tell you about him.”

               “When will you be back?” I


       asked.

               “In three weeks, if everything


       goes as planned,” she replied.


               As we hung up, I knew it was

       going to be a long three weeks.


               Through the next two weeks I

       went out each evening to feed the


       horses.  I went to the pasture each

       night to take the horses a little grain,


       but mostly I knew it was just an

       excuse to see Cashmere run.  I
