Jacob had a way of getting things done.
Before the end of the week, Rachel had received
the phone call telling her the restraining order
was in place. In addition, men in heavy
equipment had started building a winding lane
along the stream that ran up to Pine Ridge.
Obviously, no expense was spared. Gravel was
hauled in, and Rachel could tell they were
preparing it to be paved. A tidy white fence was
built along one side, while half-grown trees were
planted on the other.
