       And you seldom go to the dances.”

              “Maybe she thought he needed


       it most,” Bryce said.


              By this time, a few more of my


       roommates were up, and everyone


       seemed to think that Sherry’s visit

       with me was a great topic of


       conversation.  I was happy to
