o’clock class. Ten o’clock is too
early to even be awake, let alone
be able to think.”
“Why don’t you just go the
first day and drop it?” I asked.
“That’s crazy,” Bryce replied.
“Why should I get up at ten
o’clock to drop it? The computer
added the class, the computer can
drop it.”
Bryce was adamant that he
would rather get an F in the class
than get up to drop it, so I had
volunteered to take the drop card to
his teacher to get it signed. He
finally agreed to that, and that was
the only thing that saved him from
an F in that class fall semester.
