I quietly entered my apartment.
There was no sign of life from any
of my roommates as I quietly
showered and dressed. I hurried
with breakfast, hoping I could get a
few minutes to review my math
before I headed off to my first class
of the new semester.
I had barely set my food on the
table when I heard a knock on our
apartment door. I hurried to
answer it, knowing my roommates
were still asleep. When I opened
the door, Sherry was standing
there.
“Hi, Tom,” she said, smiling
her beautiful smile. “You’re just
the one I was looking for.”
“Me?” I said in surprise.
