              “I’ll try to remember that when
       I do grades,” he answered.
              “But I’m a horrible dancer,” I
       said.
              “I can see that,” he replied.
       “That’s all the more reason you
       need this class.”
              “It’s not fair that . . .” I started
       to complain, but he interrupted me.
              “I would suggest you find a girl
       to dance with and get started.
       You’ve got a lot to learn.”
              I looked at Sherry.  “I’m sorry,
       Tom,” she said, and she quickly
       left.
              As I stood there, unsure of
       what to do, I felt discouraged and
