considered that I might make the


       other horses jealous, so I filled a

       second bucket.


               When I arrived at the pasture,

       Cashmere was grazing beside Tor


       with the mares all around.  The

       instant he saw me, he was on his way


       over.  The others followed.  I climbed

       through the fence with the two


       buckets of grain.  I poured a small

       pile on the ground for Cashmere, and


       then I moved over a little and poured


       the rest in a line.

               Cashmere started eating his, and


       the other horses came over and

       started eating the other.  One mare


       came over to share Cashmere’s, but a

       quick squeal from him told her to go


       back to her own.

               As he ate, I rubbed my hand along
