it and turned for another run.


               The mares again took up the

       chase, but, falling behind, just turned


       and disgustedly walked back to the

       gate.  When Cashmere came around


       the corner near where Tor was, Tor

       dropped his head further, submissive


       in his loss.

               Cashmere just flew past him,


       acting as if the fight had never

       happened.  When he came back to the


       gate, the mares immediately


       surrounded him again.

               Cashmere seemed to have taken


       all of the attention he could stand

       from the mares.  He snorted at them


       and shook his head at them, but it just

       seemed to make him all the more


       enticing.  He kept backing away, but

       soon he was in the corner with
