I might be able to wrap the gate


       around the side of the trailer so that

       when the horse came out it would be


       natural for him to go into the pasture.

               When the trailer was in position,


       the two men in the pickup climbed

       out.  One of them told me they were


       both heading off to get a well-

       deserved cold beer and would come


       back in an hour or so to see if there

       was anything left of me.  With that,


       they both laughed, climbed into the


       waiting car, and drove away.

               I opened the pasture gate and


       pulled it around to the side of the

       trailer.  I found some twine in my


       pickup and tied the gate loosely to the

       horse trailer.  If the horse would come


       out and go into the pasture, I

       could then put the gate back up and
