on a banked race track. I clamped my
legs tightly and leaned to anchor my
body in preparation for the turn.
And turn he did. We turned so
quickly I knew I would have gone
over the fence if I hadn’t been ready.
After we made the turn my
feeling of fear subsided, being
replaced with pure exhilaration.
Looking down I could see the ground
flashing by at a horrendous pace. I
could feel his muscles expanding and
contracting like a giant spring in
rhythm with the movement of his
legs.
We were approaching the next
corner, so I gripped against him with
my legs locking myself to him.
Again, he hardly slowed as we made
the turn.
