     too much, I could always drop it.
              I shut the door, turned back to
       eat my breakfast, and saw my
       roommate, Bryce.  His bathrobe
       was wrapped around him, and his
       hair looked like he had combed it
       with an egg beater.
              I had eight roommates in my
       apartment.  All of them but Allen
       were a few years older than me.
       Bryce was one of the oldest.  He
       was big and jolly for the most part,
       but he was also one of the most
       outspoken of our group.  If he set
       his mind to something, it was hard
       to change it, and he tended to be
       one of the leaders.  Bryce was also
       the one I least expected to see this
