encouragement. He turned and
headed full speed across the pasture.
His head was high and his tail arched
upward as he flew along the fence
line.
Brenda came back up to the gate.
“Wow! He’s beautiful!”
I smiled. “I think he is just about
the most amazing horse I have ever
known.”
The other horses ran after him for
a short distance, but quickly returned
to grazing.
Cashmere barely slowed at the
turns. There was now a path around
the pasture, the grass worn
completely away, and a slight dusting
of dirt flew up behind him. As he
