“You mean,” the man asked, “that I have
been paying for my daughter to live there for
three years and she has not taken a single class?
What has she been doing?”
“I can’t tell you about what you’ve paid or
what she has been doing,” Deanne said. “All I
can tell you is that she has not taken any
classes.”
“Well,” he said tersely, “I can tell you
something! It is definitely time for a little
father-daughter talk!”
