Fortunately,
we had our
congregational
leadership
meeting the same
night. I say
fortunately
because, when we
took a break, and
I stepped into the
church gym, I
found the whole
group of boys playing ball, and Harry was not
there. When I asked the boys where he was, they
nonchalantly said he was still in the scout room. I
was surprised that he let the scout
meeting out so early. I wandered down to the scout
room. As I neared it, I could hear a muffled cry for
help. I quickened my pace, trotting, then running.
I found Harry tied up in the scout closet.
As I untied him, I asked, “Harry, what
happened?”
Harry was mad. “After they refused to even
consider wearing their uniforms, I tried to teach
them their knots.”
