just laid down there to rest when a car came speeding by. In an instant, Tippy jumped up and raced after it, barking. Nosey followed after him, baaing. They chased the car over the hill, then came back and flopped down beside me. After a while, another car came, and away they raced, barking and baaing. But this time the car slowed down as the people stared out the window and pointed at Nosey. The next car stopped completely. The people ignored Tippy, but they pointed and laughed at Nosey. The stopped car seemed to confuse Tippy. He was trying to chase the car away, and it wasn’t scared. He sat down and looked back at me for help. He didn’t know what to do with one if he caught it. He sniffed the car for a minute, and seemed to get an idea. He raised his leg and marked it as one he had already caught. The car sped off. Every day after that, Nosey and Tippy chased cars. Nosey stayed a good distance off the road, but Tippy would get up very close to them. Mom said I needed to stop him or he would get run over. I tried, but it was no use. The two of them would take off after a car, and I would run after them yelling. Daniel saw me and yelled, “Give it up! You’re embarrassing us! It only looks like three idiots chasing cars instead of two!”
