alone. I stared at the floor, scared,
embarrassed, and apprehensive. At
that point, I felt a tap on my
shoulder. I turned and saw a pretty
young lady with long blond hair
that swept past her shoulders. Her
hair was curled back from her face,
and her beautiful blue eyes
sparkled. But what I noticed most
about her was her pleasant smile.
“Hi, I’m Ginny,” she said. “I
heard your dilemma. I’d be happy
to dance with you if you want.”
“Even with how bad I am?” I
asked.
“Sure. Come on.”
She took my hand, and together
we went to a corner of the dance
floor where we wouldn’t interfere
