Tom looked over at Timmy. “Sure. We couldn’t leave out Timmy.” “Cool!” Emily said. “Cool!” Tom repeated, smiling, knowing that was what Justin always said. As Tom sat on the floor playing with Emily he told her all about the zoo, the amusement park, and the circus. The more he told her the more excited she became about going. The more excited she became the more excited Tom got about taking her there. He couldn’t wait to see what she thought of it. Before he knew it Judge Jensen was coming over to them. “It’s time for Emily and Timmy to sleep now.” “Can we have a story?” Emily asked. Judge Jensen didn’t answer and when Tom looked at her from his position on the floor he realized she expected him to answer. “Oh, sure,” Tom said. “We can read whatever you would like.” “How about we start with My Day at the Zoo? I like that one.” “Sure,” Tom said. Emily went to the crib and got Timmy.
