scrambled from the car, which was
soon engulfed in flames. The fire
truck came, but by the time it arrived,
the car was a total loss.
Ali said she found out that the
mechanic had accidentally bypassed
the thermostat on the car seat heater.
“And if I hear one more joke about
me having a hot butt, someone is
going to end up in intensive care!” Ali
said in conclusion.
As for me, I controlled my grin,
kept my mouth shut, and excused the
absence.
