shock. “Don’t you think that is a

pretty egotistical thing to say?

Besides, who told you that, you’re

boyfriend?”

“No!” Ali screamed. “I mean my

butt is really hot!”

Her roommate just rolled her eyes

and looked straight ahead, not

planning to even respond to such a

thing. But at that moment, Ali

screamed, hit the brakes, and steered

the car up onto the sidewalk, sending

students darting for safety. Ali threw

her car door open and jumped from

the car just as the heated car seat burst

into flames. As a crowd gathered, Ali

danced around and then plopped in a

snow bank trying to cool her back
