queried further. I told him I didn’t. At
that point, due to things that the media
says goes on in board rooms, I thought
he might respond, “Oh great! Now I’m
going to have to kill you!” Instead, he
just graciously cussed and hung up.
I thought I had pretty much
received my lifetime allotment of
strange phone calls, but the next
afternoon, I received yet another. I
looked at the number, and it was a
strange, long number - very long,
perhaps originating in a foreign
country. When I answered it, a lady
with a strong, unfamiliar accent
responded, “Ello. I call about you pet
rhino.”
