“How do you feel?” Steve asked.



               “Fine,” I said, thinking this was


       going to be easy.



               “That’s good,” he laughed,


       “because they haven’t decreased the



       cabin pressure and opened the doors.”


               Everyone talked and visited, each



       feeling they would be okay.  But


       when the cabin pressure was



       decreased and the door opened, I


       suddenly gasped for air.  I began to



       feel the strange sensation of the



       altitude sickness that Steve had told


       me about.  It started with tingling in


       my toes, similar to when the blood is



       restricted to a limb of the body and



       then allowed to flow again.  From the
