One of her roommates agreed to give her a ride to the shop to get it if, in turn, Ali would give the roommate a ride back to campus while the shop did some work on her car. After she paid for her car repair, Ali climbed into her car and her roommate jumped into the passenger seat. They had just arrived back at campus when Ali turned to her roommate and exclaimed, “My butt is hot!” Her roommate turned to her in shock. “Don’t you think that is a pretty egotistical thing to say? Besides, who told you that, you’re boyfriend?” “No!” Ali screamed. “I mean my butt is really hot!” Her roommate just rolled her eyes and looked straight ahead, not planning to even respond to such a thing.
