Water coolers were borrowed from

anyone who had one to provide cool

water for the crowd on that hot

summer day.

Every available chair was

borrowed from schools, churches, and

businesses. But as the committee

added up the number of chairs that

had been promised, they knew it was

going to be insufficient for the

expected crowd. They resorted to

relying on many attendees bringing

their own chairs.

Getting out the information for

people to bring their own chairs was

then turned over to the publicity
