commissioners, and anyone else of
any influence. Even the governor of
the state was going to be there, along
with many state legislators. Every
person that wanted to attend, no
matter their age or their faith, was
invited.
Because the groundbreaking was
expected to draw thousands of
people, committees were formed to
get the word out and arrange
accommodations for the expected
