Where and How Did the Jaredites Travel?
We can break this question into a few parts. First, after Jared and
his brother had gathered their families and friends and their friends’
families, which way did they go when they left the Tower of Babel in the
plains of Shinar? Second, where did they travel? And third, how did they
travel?
If you refer to the map above, and I asked where you thought the
Jaredites would go, what would you answer? In my seminars, I ask those
who know what the book of Ether says to not answer. I then invite those
who are unsure to guess. The most common guess is west. The second
