Donna Howard
Donna Howard grew up in Los Angeles, Texas, and Missouri. She met Daris at Ricks College, where she was majoring in music. Together they have ten children. She has a master’s degree in music composition and arranging. She has been very active in musical events throughout her life, either playing clarinet and saxophone, piano, or conducting. She loves gardening, herbs, writing music, sewing, and spending time with their grandchildren.
Donna wrote columns for two newspapers for a few years, drawing on her experiences raising children and offering parents suggestions and hope as they navigate parenting and its many challenges. When she was asked to be a guest on a podcast, she compiled these columns into a book called Perfect Parents, Perfect Children, and Other Fairy Tales.
