Johnson, I expect you to learn the
dances quickly so you can
participate in the class. In two
weeks, you must be able to switch
off partners, so you have no more
time than that to learn the dances.”
One of the girls near us
laughed, “That will be a miracle.”
I could feel my face grow
warm.
Ginny was very patient and
kind, and I gradually started to
learn. As class ended, she
suggested that besides class twice a
week, I should come to the four
weekly evening dances.
