Dear Professor, I have some family things
that have come up and will not be there the first
week of the semester. I hope this won’t cause
you any incontinence.
Dear Professor Howard, I want to
apologize for missing class the last couple of
days, and also for falling asleep in class today.
I haven’t been able to watch my soap operas for
nearly four months. I’ve been recording them,
and I finally decided to watch them, but it took
two full days and I didn’t sleep at all.
Dear Professor Howard, I saw on the
Internet that you were responsible for hiring
tutors in statistics, and I need a job. I have
never had statistics or anything, but I’m sure it
couldn’t be that hard.
Dear Professor Howard, I won’t be in class
